AXG Contracting is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in the natural gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects for natural gas facilities, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management - Work closely with other project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project success and timely completion - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes, including environmental and safety regulations - Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports - Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential construction issues and recommend corrective actions - Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients - Ensure quality control and quality assurance processes are in place and followed throughout the project lifecycle - Lead project meetings and facilitate communication between all stakeholders - Manage project change orders and ensure proper documentation and approvals are obtained
Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field - Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the natural gas industry - Strong knowledge of industry standards and building codes related to natural gas facilities, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities - Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with other project managers, engineers, and construction teams - Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously - Proficiency in project management software and tools - Professional certifications, such as PMP or CCM, preferred - Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
