AXG Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team in the natural gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining project schedules for natural gas facilities, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project success and timely completion
Monitor and report on project progress against the schedule, and recommend corrective actions as needed
Analyze project data to identify risks and opportunities, and make recommendations for schedule optimization
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes, including environmental and safety regulations
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients
Assist project managers in developing project budgets and resource plans
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential schedule issues
Implement and maintain project scheduling standards and procedures
Provide training and support to project teams on scheduling best practices and tools
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the natural gas industry
Strong knowledge of industry standards and building codes related to natural gas facilities, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
Expertise in project management software, such as Primavera or MS Project
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and construction teams
Ability to analyze data and identify trends to optimize project schedules
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Professional certifications, such as PSP or PMI-SP, preferred
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
